The APPFA Professional Development Conference is designed to further enhance the participant’s auditing skills and also provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and concepts. At the completion of the conference, the participant will have attained an overview of the topic areas. Although there is no prerequisite for attending, the level of knowledge required is intermediate to advanced. The conference is designed to comply with the AICPA’s Statement on Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Standards. Auditing and accounting professionals may qualify for 18 CPE hours by attending. Participants will receive a certificate following completion of the program. APPFA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses.
